The Rotary Club of Charleston tnanks all of the area’s holiday merry-makers for purchasing raffle tickets for our annual club fund-raiser and for attending our annual holiday party on Dec. 8 on a cold, wet evening at the Charleston Maritime Center. It’s a shame that the boat parade was cancelled due to weather, but we sure had a good time!
We look forward to the second Saturday in 2019 for the 6th annual Holiday Parade of Boats Viewing Party and raffle. Until then, have a happy holiday season.

The Rotary Club of Charleston’s annual Holiday Parade of Boats Viewing Party on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, will combine two of the Lowcountry’s most beloved traditions — the allure of the harbor and festive holiday lights.
Presented by the historic club and the City of Charleston, the fifth annual Viewing Party will be held at the Charleston Maritime Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. rain or shine on Dec. 8, 2018, with sounds of the holiday season and captivating holiday lights on boats that will promenade past the viewing docks. Tickets include a barbecue meal by Swig & Swine, live entertainment and a cash bar. Santa is expected to make an appearance around 6 p.m.

Tickets to attend our special Holiday Parade of Boats Viewing Party will be $35 in advance or $40 at the door; children under age 18 are $5 with an accompanying adult.

Richard Land, a visitor who lives in Wisconsin and Florida, was picked as winner of the Rotary Club of Charleston’s 2017 boat raffle. While he could have accepted the 38,000 SeaFox boat, he elected to pick the alternate $15,000 cash prize.
